With over 20 years Industry Experience, in Nepa, Shell E&P and Conoco Phillips Canada, Charles is a professional engineer, registered with COREN in Nigeria and maintain membership with Association of Professional Engineers, Geologist, and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). He graduated with a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 1986, and earned an MBA from Delta State University, Nigeria in 1999.
Charles is a well engineer with outstanding credentials, formerly stuck pipe focal point and borehole stability adviser for Shell Nigeria; he was the project manager responsible for the clay mineral depositional mapping of the Niger Delta.
One significant result of his project was the phased introduction of synthetic mud for shale drilling in SPDC. He has strong Knowledge in design, well technology, operations planning, rig operations, well site supervision and general project management. The conceptual design of Rig- 75, the only multi well swamp rig worldwide with skidding capability was his brain child. He also supervised site construction of the rig and production platform.
